APPLICATION SYSTEMS

Laminate Flooring

It is a flooring product which is preferred as it has easy flooring, cleaning, nice appearance and long-lasting characteristic. It is easily applied on the places such as the doorway, hall, stage floors, offices and fairgrounds. Laminated parquet consists of decorative paper based on melamine, covering layer with aluminum oxide, damp proof carrying core(HDF) and balance layer which will balance the strains stuck just beneath the core. Laminated parquets are easily applied on the areas where entrance and exit traffic are very common and it, with its intensive surface, is a very long-lasting strong material against scratching, crashing, sunlight fade and cigarette burning.

Laminated parquets, as glued and locked, are applied in two groups: just beneath (between floor and parquet), floating system flooring is applied on isolation material such as blanket, capron and etc.. Ends of the walls are covered with skirting which goes with the color of floored parquet and application ends in that way.

Engineered Flooring

Floating system used in application of Laminated Parquet is the easiest and the quickest flooring system. Wicks and mortises of parquets are stucked and the floor is easily covered. There must be 50 cm space between the beginning parts of the panels side by side. Parquet must be placed by leaving spaces accordingly on the places where there are some elements such as pipe, etc. But before this process, floor must be made smooth, in case there is alum, it must be dry, and the room or the place to be floored must be in room temperature. In application of laminated parquet, what must never be forgotten is that wood is a living material.

After application, parquet expands with the effect of ambient temperature and damp. That's why, space is left at the ends of the walls and doorways for natural movement of wood. These spaces are covered with skirting and passing profiles. To allow the movement of wood, space is divided in the places which are 100 m2 or larger than this area. As laminated parquets are produced as varnished, scraper and varnish are not necessary. It is ready 1 hour after application. As varnish, which does not contain formaldehyde and does not cause stain, is applied on each layer, it protects wood against wearing and eases it to be cleaned. That's why, as soon as assembling is finished, the floor is ready to be used.

As varnish, which does not contain formaldehit and does not cause stain, is applied on each layer, it protects wood against wearing and eases it to be cleaned. That's why, as soon as assembling is finished, the floor is ready to be used. As it is on all wooden floors, laminated parquet should also be cleaned with less amount of water.

Much water on wooden floor causes damage and blenches. You must use vacuum cleaner in order to avoid dust and grits. You must remove the stain before it dries. You must remove the stain with a clean cloth. Possible stains you may see on a laminated floor and the method of removing them are as follows:

STAIN VARNISHED FLOOR
Fruit, Milk, Cream, Drinks, Beer, Wine, Coffee, Tea  Water + Washing Liquid
Chocolate, Shoe Polish, Oil, Sole print White spirit
Ink, India ink or drawing ink, lipstick Methyl spirit
Urine Water + Washing Liquid

Solid Flooring

This group is applied by sticking the parquet on the floor by glue. After covering, in order that parquets adjust the environment, they let rest for a period not less than 1 week. After waiting period, upon preference, it is delivered as bright and matt after final stage process.

The Points Which Must be Taken into Consideration On the Alum Floor to be Covered with Parquet.
  • When alum is hammered, it mustn't be broken into small pieces, and when it is scratched with materials such as nail, there mustn't remain marks and raise dust.
  • For the alums made with cement, floor must be covered with parquet only after 1 month.
  • If there is a large crack on the alum, it must be opened in V shape and filled with mortar into which dopant with synthetic resin is added. Small cracks are acceptable cracks.
  • When controlling level of alum, every part of the floor must be the same.
  • There mustn't be level difference exceeding 3 mm. This control is carried out by 2-3 m lath.
  • Alum mustn't have roughness which is extraordinarily big. It may lengthen drying period of adhesive and causes waste of roughness adhesive.
  • Alum must be clean and mustn't contain grease. Before applying adhesive, the surface must be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and wiped clean with a cloth wetted with thinner.
  • All water installations must be checked and make sure there is not any water leak.
  • The temperature of the place to be covered with parquet must not be less than 15 centigrade.
  • All decoration works such as plastering, painting and coating must be finished. Windows must be installed and woodworking must be finished.
  • Thickness of alum must be 3 cm and dry. The alum must let rest for 30 days in order that it reaches dryness which allows flooring.
  • Scraper and varnish are applied after at least 10 days when the floor is covered with parquet.
  • It must never be forgotten that wood is a living material and according to the temperature and damp of the place in which it is applied, it may have movements.
  • After varnishing is finished, the floor mustn't be walked on before 48 hours, and after 1 week, goods must not be put on it.
  • Furniture items must never be dragged on the floor, and the legs of furniture items must be covered with plastic protectors.
